In 2022, the Department of Translation Studies FA CPU in Nitra became the first Slovak university to included in the ZOO ACADEMY programme. As a partner in education of audiovisual translators and creators of subtitles for persons with impaired hearing, it gained access to the subtitling platforms of the international software company ZOO Digital, and thus train future translators and subtitlers with regard to current trends and technologies in the field audiovisual media. We thank Zoo Digital for this opportunity.

In 2023, The Department of Translation Studies FA CPU in Nitra gained access to the LSP.expert management software for translators.

In 2024, the Department of Translation Studies FA CPU joined Juremy's academic programme. Thanks to it, our Master's degree students have the opportunity to use the licenses of the Juremy online search tool free of charge, which is an effective tool for professional translators to search for terminology and parallel texts (not only) when translating for the European Union.
