We invite you to participate in an online discussion with the translator Veronika Maťúšová about her Slovak translation of one of the best known works of modern French literature, Petit pays [Little Country]. The discussion in primarily intended for students of French and it will contain analyses of excerpts from the work; nevertheless, students studying other languages but with an interest in literary translation are also welcome.

The Department of Translation Studies is opening registration for the department round of the SVOUC [Student research, specialised, or artistic activity] competition, which will take place on 31 March 2022 at FA CPU in Nitra.

Additionally, we would like to bring all students' attention to the fact that they do not have to participate with their bachelor or master thesis; other works (and topics) related with translation studies, even from outside academia, are welcome, but they do need to have a supervisor.
